Nonchalantmom - Amy Arnold

amy arnold I don't remember how I found amy but when I did I just knew I had to share her work with everyone I know! we started by emailing each other and it was a wonderful experience! amy is such a creatively wonderful person, her story is one of love for creating just about anything!! and she explains her introduction to 'peepwool' (her name for her people) as this:

The peepwool are an expression of my inner world and my experiences as a mother-among other identities-and reflect my experiences of intimacy, separateness, bewilderment, frustration, wonder, and joy. Yet the peepwool clearly have identities and agendas all their own. They are me; they are not me. I am their instrument and they are mine.

I love the entire idea of peepwool and I hope you love them too, they are a treasure to be held onto forever...so many of her peepwool characters spoke to me, we gave them names and then they started to speak even more...they have been a joy since the day they entered out studio and I hope that they can bring the same into your homes as well! --thank you Amy for sharing peepwool with us!
