Black Crane is a collection created by Alexander Yamaguchi and Momoko Suzuki. It's no secret that their collection is inspired by minimalist Japanese architecture, their shapes are straightforward but have a tremendous amount of femininity through their fabric and drape. When I see Momoko layered in Black Crane it is incredibly elegant. Their values also consider environmental issues seriously, all production takes place locally in Los Angeles, with many fabrics from Japan (representing both of their values). The wide top features raw edges, long sleeve and a shirt-tail in the back. There is also a back seam with raw edge to add to the design. This piece fit's true to size - size small = size 2-4 / size medium = size 6 / size large = size 8-10. 85% cotton / 15% wool - made in USA.
